My passion for orchids is what initially led me to study botany. Following that path resulted in collecting what some may call a ridiculous amount of foliage and flowering plants. There's a very strong chance that the flowers and leaves you see in my work were cut from that collection.
In support of the fine folks who rescue and relocate beehives that have established themselves in not-so-ideal locations, I source the comb I use from rescued hives. This fun fact allows me ample opportunities to help educate the public about hive relocation as an alternative to extermination.
From raw gemstones to bugs and bones, ethically-sourced findings make great electroforming accessories. As most electroformers will tell you, our favorite friends are the ones who reach out and say, "I found this [weird or dead] thing, do you want it?" and the answer is always yes!
